Fill the tub with warm water and pour in ½ to 1 cup of Dawn and add ½ to 1 cup vinegar to the bath solution. You can add scented oil to the bathwater to cover up the smell of vinegar. Soak the pet in the soap and water for at least five minutes. Use the Dawn to lather and clean your pet, starting at the ears and working your way to the tail. After your pet is dry, use a flea comb to groom it. To drown the fleas. Add vinegar to a bowl of soapy water, dip the flea comb in it, and comb your pet.
