WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN A CAT IS SICK

If the cat associates pain with the litter box it may stop using the litter box. In multi-cat households, one cat will block the other cat from using it. Bad breath is caused by dental disease a mass or tumor in the mouth. It can also be internal illnesses like kidney disease or diabetes. Be sure to see your vet. If the cat has a painful bladder condition it can over-groom itself to the point of baldness. Not being able to pee, vomiting that won’t stop, being unresponsive, having seizures, and labored breathing are all emergencies, and you should seek veterinary care immediately.
